Three from Heim, Payne & Chorush Named Among Top Young Intellectual Property Attorneys for 2025

Heim, Payne & Chorush’s Chris First, Alden Harris, and Blaine Larson have been selected to an exclusive group of the country’s top up-and-coming lawyers in the recent 2025 Benchmark Litigation 40 & Under rankings.

The three experienced firm partners were featured in the same guide to the country’s top lawyers under 40 last year for their work on behalf of the firm’s clients in significant intellectual property and patent lawsuits.

From their first days at Heim, Payne & Chorush, Chris, Alden, and Blaine have played key roles in many of the firm’s most important cases for clients across various industries.

Over nearly two decades, Heim, Payne & Chorush has consistently hired overachieving young attorneys from some of the nation’s top law schools and experienced lawyers from much larger firms. This model has enabled the firm to build one of the most comprehensive intellectual property boutiques in the country, representing clients in pre- suit investigations and strategies, courtroom trials and settlement negotiations, and district court appeals.

Heim, Payne & Chorush has continued to grow the firm’s emerging legal talent with the recent additions of experienced attorney Kyle Friesen as Senior Counsel and associates Maryam Sheikh and Lily Glick.
