Four Lawyers with Heim, Payne & Chorush Make Top Young Lawyers List
HOUSTON – Four attorneys with Houston intellectual property firm Heim, Payne & Chorush have earned selection to the 2018 Texas Rising Stars list.
Recognized among the state’s top young lawyers are partners Eric J. Enger, Miranda Jones and Robert Allan Bullwinkel and associate Christopher First. All are being honored for their contributions to intellectual property litigation.
This is Mr. Enger’s 11th consecutive year to be listed as a Rising Star, and Ms. Jones’ third consecutive year. Mr. First is making his second appearance on the list, and Mr. Bullwinkel is being honored by Rising Stars for the first time.

Each year, the publishers of Texas Rising Stars recognize the best and brightest attorneys in the state. To qualify, lawyers must be 40 or younger, or must have been practicing law for less than 10 years. Assembled by the Thomson Reuters’ legal division, each year’s list is subject to a lengthy nomination process and rigorous editorial review. Only 2.5 percent of eligible attorneys make the list, which will be published in the April 2018 editions of Texas Monthly and the Texas Rising Stars edition of Super Lawyers magazine.
