News Media Focusing on Heim, Payne & Chorush's Expanded Trademark Practice
Legal news publications in Texas and nationwide are taking notice of Heim, Payne & Chorush’s recent addition of experienced trademark attorney Elizabeth King to lead the firm’s expanded Trademark Litigation and Appeals practice.
Ms. King spoke with the national news provider Law360 and the statewide legal outlet The Texas Lawbook about her extensive background in trademark law, the firm’s plans for the coming year, and her long-standing relationships with HPC name partners Michael Heim, Leslie Payne, and Russell Chorush.
She credited the firm’s litigation expertise in the Lawbook story (subscription only) as a “perfect marriage” with her trademark background and HPC’s emerging work in complex trademark matters, with a focus on litigation and global protection strategies.
Ms. King told Law 360 (subscription only) that HPC is “second to none in terms of litigation strategy,” and her new role at the firm has been a “logical expansion” of the firm’s existing capabilities for clients and plans for 2026.
Both stories and additional online news outlets also took note of Ms. King’s dual roles as the founder and director of the University of Houston Law Center’s Trademark Clinic and adjunct professor for trademark law.
