Two from Heim, Payne & Chorush Earn Texas Rising Stars Honors

Heim, Payne & Chorush partners Blaine Larson and Allan Bullwinkel have earned repeat selection to the Super Lawyers Rising Stars list of the state’s top young lawyers.

The Texas Rising Stars list recognizes the outstanding work of the state’s top attorneys under the age of 40 or those who have practiced law for no more than 10 years. Honorees are selected based on peer nominations, independent research and a review by separate advisory boards. The full list is published in the April 2021 issues of Texas Monthly and the Texas Rising Stars issue of Super Lawyers magazine and at https://www.superlawyers.com/.

The two experienced litigators are selected for their intellectual property litigation expertise.

Mr. Bullwinkel has been recognized by Rising Stars since 2018. With experience as a judicial clerk in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, Mr. Bullwinkel represents plaintiffs and defendants in venues across the country. He has a background in computer engineering and worked as a software developer before becoming a lawyer.

Mr. Larson holds an electrical engineering degree and has rare experience having served as a judicial clerk in both the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and as law clerk to Chief Judge Leonard Davis of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas. He was honored earlier this year in the Best Lawyers in America “Ones to Watch” list of rising young lawyers.
